Yep it's proboards! They're notorious for maintaining PG-13 sites and content. But lucky for us, we're out here to run a PG-13 crime site. Since this is fiction writing we shouldn't run into any issues so long as we're not writing viciously graphics scenes or images. This site is more about the character complexity and building relationships than it is for roleplaying out heinous crimes. Think about organized crime here as more of a setting than a plot. It brings in a unique draw and creates problematic characters, all of which we love and want to see develop. So please don't join here assuming you can roleplay out your gore fantasies. Staff is on high guard for this kind of content and can lead to suspensions, deletion of content, or instant bans.

Secondarily, sexual content is also forbidden. You may fade to black or imply what happened, but any kind of detail is also grounds for suspensions and bans. Take it to discord if you'd like, but it cannot be posted here.

As for talking about past traumas and triggers, feel free to mention all the treacherous stuff your character did or went through in your history. Please write it mindfully of course, but it's allowed to be included.


Note how these terms aren't used in any of the examples in the settings page. Because we are a character-driven roleplay we are avoiding humanitarian types of crimes in the roleplay. We would prefer your character not have them as active situations within the rp either, even if it's not typed out. Example; don't give your character the occupation 'kidnapper', even if you never plan to write it out. There's a plethora of other occupations to choose from, be creative! We don't want any harm to anyone else's characters so thank you for understanding this exception.


We are a fairly 'realistic' roleplay in reguards to characters' appearances. Colored hair is absolutely allowed, although it'd be under the impression of dyed instead of born with. We also welcome all races and ethnicities to this roleplay!
There are no fantasy elements allowed. This includes; skin of abnormal color (pink, blue, purple), eyes of abnormal color, elf ears, horns, animal features, or any supernatural powers/abilities. Please also avoid faceclaims with these features.

Have a problem with someone or their actions? Yeah, I feel ya. I'm a scorpio too. But we ask you to please message them privately and try to discuss the issue. If it becomes too much to handle or it's a more widespread issue, please message staff privately. We're against 'callout posts' or 'vague posting' to try and solve things. We're here to help if needed.
