Born as the only daughter to the Nakagawa family, Eri had three elder brothers who all doted on her since young. Being the daughter of the boss of one of the most infamous Yakuza syndicates in all of Japan, Eri often found herself trying to disassociate herself out in public from her family because she wished to live a normal life, not affected by her family's business. Eri only had the best life had to offer as the precious daughter of Nakagawa Shigeru. She attended the best schools, was surrounded by luxuries, etc. [break][break]
Her brothers all spoiled Eri, protecting her from anyone who tried to approach their precious baby sister. Thanks to this, the princess didn't have many friends in school for most kids were too scared of her brothers to approach her. As a result of her lavish upbringing, Eri became arrogant and full of herself. Not many kids her age enjoyed all the things she did. As Eri grew up, she became a beautiful girl. However, due to her brothers' intimidation, she was an outcast among her peers in school and thus became an ice queen. [break][break]
Eri was always very good at studying so when she graduated from Senior high, she was at the top of her class but fell just short of valedictorian. Although, thanks to her grades, she received a scholarship to attend Tokyo University. There she did manage to get some space from her family as her brothers became too busy with work to be her "bodyguards". In school, she was finally able to have a life. In her first year in school, she was scouted by a modeling agent. It was such a good opportunity she didn't hesitate to take their hand and began a side job outside her studies as a small-time fashion model.[break][break]
