俺を蔑んでいるよ

From the beginning, Itsuki was unwanted -- the second son of a well-to-do businessman and his upper class wife, he was a redundancy. A complete accident, really -- there were already many years between him and his elder brother when he was born, there had been no plans in the Ito family to have another. However, such a prestigous family had to maintain appearances and so the child was kept, but really only treated as a part of the family in name only. Foisted off onto nannies, the bond between Itsuki and his parents and brother was tenuous at best. All of the expectations of being an Ito was placed upon him, with virtually no support structure, and as he aged it only became worse.

As soon as he was old enough to be mostly autonomous, he was expected to fend for himself. As this continued, he developed the habit of daydreaming; it helped him escape the horrid monotony of his day-to-day life. Soon enough this led to him being the butt of many jokes at school, and at home he was often pushed around by his sibling. The older male was emboldened by their parents' singular doting and praise, leading to Itsuki being forced even more into the role of a lesser. He found solace in art classes and music club, but eventually enough was enough.

His first attempt was met with disdain and disgust which was unsurprisingly less than helpful. At first it simply drove him to become more secretive with certain habits, but it soon culminated in a second attempt which, while unsuccessful at its original purpose, destroyed whatever scant goodwill he had with his blood relatives. As soon as he was out of the hospital, he was instructed to find somewhere else to live.

Since then moving out and barely finishing high school, Itsuki has been primarily living hand to mouth working whatever odd jobs he can get his hands on, spending the minimum necessary on essentials like food and shelter and hoarding/spending the rest on supplies to make living bearable. He could've just given up, but instead he placed his hope in music; melodies became his outlet, make-up and fashion became his armor. One way or the other, he was going to weather this storm.[break][break]

真いが見えるか?

What flavor of Itsuki one gets is highly dependent on the environment one encounters him in. At work or in his usual day-to-day, he's the quiet type that keeps to himself. Soft-spoken, he has the air of someone who is skittish and meek, always waiting for the other shoe to drop and ready to bolt at any moment. Despite this, when he puts his mind to something he picks up new things quickly, and can become quite enthusiastic about activities and new knowledge...Though he tends to keep it inside.[break][break]
On stage, he gains a certain confidence and bounce to his step that's rarely glimpsed elsewhere. Boisterous and playful, he loves interacting with the crowd and partaking in goofy antics.

The true Itsuki lies somewhere in-between, but given his life circumstances he has become quite good at compartmentalizing. Too nervous to let anyone truly close and desperately trying to maintain walls, while also craving contact and positive reinforcement, Itsuki finds himself adrift in a conformist culture that really doesn't suit his sensitive, whimsical ways...But he's struggle-busing it through somehow.

Of average height and willowy build, Itsuki wouldn't draw much attention at first glance if it wasn't for his hair. His face is somewhat angular with a feminine flare and soft lips, framed by long white-bleached locks interspersed with bursts of pink. Slim shoulders, angular hips and long limbs, his typical day-to-day garb depends on jeans and hoodies or long-sleeved shirts, often trying to cover himself in as much fabric as possible while still maintaining comfort. On his leisure days or for performances, he enjoys dressing up in a pastel sweet goth style, all black and baby blues/pinks with poufy skirts and blouses cobbled together from thrift store finds and often accessorized with eyeballs as a play on his band persona name (I.I./EyeEye).

As of late, Itsuki has been pouring his efforts into a little indie projected titled Fatal Ingénue for which he fills the pianist/keyboardist/synth role. Their sound is somewhat experimental and includes deceptively bouncy/fun songs as well as more serious tracks. While tending to band business, he goes by I.I.[break][break]
