Welcome to Tokyo, Japan. January, 1991. The world has entered the technology era, portable phones, home computers, internet, video games. Japan quickly became the epicenter of the latest and greatest. Companies and factories flourished. Where money was, people followed. And while many rose to live a comfortable, happy, and delightful life from this new found money... Others did not. You see, money has this effect on people that can't be outdone. People will do anything for it. And when it starts slipping into the wrong hands, it's impossible to stop. Benethe the day time laborers and the double-shift workers, a seedy underbelly of syndicates exists. Narctics, black market, organized crime, money laundering, you name it and it's been growing as fast as the upper world economy. While many do it just to stay alive, there's those who make it their posh lifestyle. Either way, there's only one question. What would you do if the money was good enough?

"My boy's being sus and he don't know how to cuss. He just sounds like he's tryna be his father. (Who are you?) My boy's an ugly crier but he's such a pretty liar, and by that I mean he said he'd 'change'."
[attr="class","descript"]When I think of describing Seiko, the first thing that comes to mind is her stoic attitude. She isn't an easy person to get along with, being independent to a fault, fiery and always ready for a debate. This tends to be her default way of conversing in her day to day life. At university, or in private meetings she holds herself with power and assertion. Distant enough to never put herself in a vulnerable position. Around her partner Francis, this changes quite a bit. She becomes more meek, less willing to express her opinions and thoughts.
[break][break]
[attr="class","subhead"]Friends
[attr="class","descript"]Seiko has never had a lot in the way of friends in her life, having prioritised her study and successes over the need for social interaction. Seiko can definitely be a difficult person to befriend, because she has a lot of walls up and lives a lot of lies between her relationship and her crimes. So either way it's hard for her to befriend people and has never had an actual close friend. I'd like to see her grow to have some lighthearted banter type friendships? Maybe? Even just work-based friendships could be good. She's got plenty of legal information and advice she can sell.
[break][break]
[attr="class","subhead"]Enemies
[attr="class","descript"]Enemies is definitely less difficult to plot because she tends to dislike most people on first glance, or lands a bad impression. She's had a lot of really petty enemies through her social life as a part of a more high-end family. She tends to banter and debate as standard conversation, and that definitely can rub off the wrong way on some. tbf she does this on purpose as a trauma response, yknow isolate urself before they let you down.
[break][break]
[attr="class","subhead"]Lovers
[attr="class","descript"]This is definitely complicated, as an undiscovered lesbian, in an abusive straight relationship. Honestly I could see her being pretty versatile here, either jumping between men in attempt to feel something but it doesn't work because gay and slowly coming around to the idea that she's just not that into men and it's not just the fact that her current boyfriend is shitty. Or she could just meet a woman that she crushes on or whatever and kind of figures it out that way, doesn't even necessarily have to even get with them.
OKAY OKAY, so I keep thinking about how fun it would be for Seiko's self discovery to do with a cute, lesbian, enemies/rivals to lovers plot. I don't know what exactly I want, but that would be such a cute romance vibe for her.

[attr="class","textboxs"]
[attr="class","subhead"]☐ On the Case
[attr="class","descript"]I just really would love to write Seiko thriving in her element. So if there was anyway for her to interact with a character on a case, either as a fellow professionals contributing to a case, or as someone involved in the case, or a witness or something to that degree. Even if there's some shifty things involved in there, whether she actively tampers with a case or whatever, I think it would just be fun to do something like that.
[break][break]
[attr="class","subhead"]☐ Bad Idea
[attr="class","descript"]Honestly I just want Seiko to have a very real moment with a girl, and probably have a fling. Something where she's having a one on one conversation with a girl in which there is a little bit of deep chat, a lot of banter, teasing and bullying. Something that just gives tension and makes Seiko feel something. I want an incident that actually puts the idea that she might be into women into her head.
[break][break]
[attr="class","subhead"]☐ Letting go
[attr="class","descript"]Someone please invite this girl somewhere that she doesn't have to act like anything in particular and she can indulge in some escapism. Seiko is someone that holds herself to a very high standard, so very rarely is she not thinking about appearances. Maybe she's feeling really fucked in the head with what's going on with Francis, and has a night out where she just... goes feral? I could either have someone for her to interact with while she's out drunk, meet a new person, or she could have a party partner with her. Just something fun, even if it ends with her trying to debate with someone over something while inebriated.
[attr="class","descript2"]Emile is someone Seiko has come across a few times at various soirees and elite gatherings. She doesn't know much about him, but is entertained by the way he jests with Francis. He sometimes provides relief at stuffy events, and Seiko appreciates his presence.
[break][break]
[attr="class","pic"]
[attr="class","subhead2"]♦︎ Takahashi Hikaru
[attr="class","descript2"]Hikaru is someone Seiko has known, or at least known of, since she was younger. Spending her free time at her fathers law firm, she ran into him while he was still working as a police officer. She hadn't seen him in years until recently where he reaches out for some assistance.
[break][break]
[attr="class","pic"]
[attr="class","subhead2"]♦︎ ? Shuichi
[attr="class","descript2"]Seiko knows very little about Shuichi, but considers him a friend, even if just for the fact he saved her life. Seiko met Shuichi one late night when she was bleeding out in an alleyway due to an aggressive episode of her boyfriend's. Not many people have seen Seiko in such a vulnerable state, so it's an interaction she doesn't take lightly.
[break][break]
[attr="class","pic"]
[attr="class","subhead2"]♥︎ Miyano Francis (NPC)
[attr="class","descript2"]Francis is Seiko's long term boyfriend of nearly 4 years. She'd met him during her first year of university when he had approached her at a mutual acquaintance's birthday party. She used his reluctant (and clearly forced) flirting in her favour, and pursued a relationship with him. Seiko believes dating someone of importance will give value to her work, opinions and words. She knows that he does not love her, and while it doesn't bother her, the unhealthy dynamic of their relationship is taking it's toll on her.

"Whiskey was his friend, he didn't have another. Vicodin his vice, his real and only lover (yup). Smoked a pack or two, it never was a problem. Popped a pill or two, they really made him blossom (yup)."
[attr="class","descript"]The easiest way to summarise Masaharu is purely that he's a self-serving narcissist who plays as someone caring. He displays different sides of himself in various situations. Amongst his family and the high-classed elites he portrays a caring, compassionate persona, constantly boasting about the lives he saves. He feigns care in order to manipulate, and get his way. At work his is stoic, focused and cruel. He cares little for other's lives in reality and most of his work is just for show. The research is far more interesting to him, where he might make a few more fun comments and come to life a bit. In the underground he allows himself to feel a little more freely. He masks a little less, but operates in a similar way. It's more fun playing with desperate people. No matter the circumstance, Masaharu will ultimately do whatever he has to do benefit himself, and feel in control and powerful.
[break][break]
[attr="class","subhead"]Friends
[attr="class","descript"]I'm not exactly sure how Masaharu fairs with the concept of friends. He tends to make temporary alliances, and befriends others for his own benefit. I don't know if Masaharu is capable of having like... a true friend, unless they were completely able to overlook his manipulative and validation seeking tendencies. Perhaps it would be funny to have someone who saw through all his bullshit and was just unfazed by it, maybe bullied him about it. Someone that was just real with him but he probably ignores all the advice. That could be fun.
[break][break]
[attr="class","subhead"]Enemies
[attr="class","descript"]Well, it's not hard to imagine him with enemies. His siblings already count for this category as he constantly fights to be better than them. It's not hard for him to make enemies when he tends to mess around with people for fun. There have been instances where people have died messing around with him before, and cared ones upset. He manipulates people for his own ends so it's really not hard for people to dislike him once they get an idea of his actual nature as a person.
[break][break]
[attr="class","subhead"]Lovers
[attr="class","descript"]I'm not really sure what I want in term of a long term plot here but Masaharu gets around. He generally considers himself straight, having effectively no attraction towards men, not really seeing them as potential partners, but it doesn't stop him from fucking around with a dude here and there. Honestly, if there was just a dude he was vague homies with that he was a bit bromantic with and screwed every now and then, I think that would be a funky dynamic. Otherwise he is a serial womaniser. Generally speaking he'll sleep with anyone interested in him, as long as they meet his aesthetic standards.

[attr="class","subhead"]☐ Gambler
[attr="class","descript"]Masaharu is a gambling addict, and I think it could be kind of fun to mess around with some kind of underground setting where he plays around with gambling and drugs with whoever I'm threading with. It would likely be a lot of Masaharu trying to show off, to feel better than others. In this sense we can either go with Masaharu just really pissing off this character because he's a narcissist, but he is a winning narcissist, or we can do something to kind of push Masaharu into his place. Either way, the idea here is to build a kind of hostile vibe, have some spicy debates going back and forth, and the such. This could be the start of a longer term plot of anger and enemies if we wanted, then we could later build up bigger, worse things to occur between them later? Either way works really.
[break][break]
[attr="class","subhead"]☐ That's a bit gay
[attr="class","descript"]Honestly this is just because I was going to have this kind of plot with someone way back on a very old forum and it's just so entertaining to me. Anyways, the idea is to do a thread with said bromantic friend that I mentioned would be fun for Masaharu to have in both the friends and lovers section. This would be someone he knew from his spicier activities, and isn't particularly bothered by Masaharu's narcissism. They just accept it for what it is, perhaps even bully him about it a little bit. This would be one person that Masaharu doesn't have a ridiculously high guard with, and it's a lot of playful banter. I imagine it as them hanging at either one's place, just drinking and smoking, chilling and chatting, and then ending up being a bit gay in there. Doesn't have to be a long term plot, I just like the idea of Masaharu having a bromantic fuck around. That being said, it would not be beyond the realm of possibility for this to be a long term plot. Could be kind of cute, kind of funny.
[break][break]
[attr="class","subhead"]☐ Acting games
[attr="class","descript"]I have a weaknesses for dramatic events at elite parties and events. I basically just want something where I get to portray how Masaharu frames himself for the elite he lives amongst, how he acts around his family. Throw in some fun gaslighting and a sprinkle of his shitty personality, but covering it up however necessary to find no fault with his interaction at whatever event. Basically I'm looking for some banter where he still has to act a character that is far more caring than he is.
[attr="class","descript2"]Mao is Masaharu's little sister and they have never gotten along. Earlier in life Mao was the central target of bullying from all the Himura brothers. It was stress relief, and all the boys could agree should would never be as good as them. Mao wasn't supposed to amount to anything. Eventually, however, she started to take the spotlight. Masaharu hates Mao and her rapid growing success with his entire self.

"You have to understand that the one I killed is me. Changing what I was for what you wanted me to be. I followed your direction, did everything you asked. I hope that makes you happy 'cause there's just no turning back."
[attr="class","descript"]Katsuki is quite simply just trying to live their life, despite it falling apart around them in sync with their fragile body. They mostly function off illegal drugs, very rarely sober. If they are, they are crippled by the intense pain they feel due to chronic illness. This leaves them fairly unhinged however, with no sense of risk evaluation. They believe they aren't going to live a long life any way, so there is little they aren't willing to do. Quite honestly you could send this kid on a drug run, ask them to sell their body, or pose for erotic content, have them help kidnap someone, steal something, manipulate information out of someone, or even like... hire them to kill someone. Honestly, there's nothing they wouldn't be up to doing. For the right price, and to feel something, anything is worth it for them.
[break][break]
[attr="class","subhead"]Friends
[attr="class","descript"]While Katsuki is a very cynical kind of person in regards to their own life they are quite easy to get along with. They enjoy getting along with others. They empathise with them, enjoy helping, or just getting an insight into who they are. They hold very little judgement, no longer really questioning people and their morals, letting go of any concern for it. As far as they are aware, they are just floating along with their life for what little life they have. Basically, it's not too far fetched for Katsuki to befriend anyone they meet really.
[break][break]
[attr="class","subhead"]Enemies
[attr="class","descript"]It's hard to imagine Katsuki with enemies per say. For them, they don't really hate many people. Even if they are done wrong, they find it easy to empathise with the perpetrator. The only person they really hold anything against is the various incompetent medical professionals they've met in their time. I imagine that if they felt particularly close to a person, if someone wronged them, Katsuki would be very displeased with them, but as it stands, Katsuki doesn't really have anyone they would do that for.
[break][break]
[attr="class","subhead"]Lovers
[attr="class","descript"]I'm very, very flexible on romance plots. I either want something to destroy them further or to build them up. Perhaps both to some degree, either with one plot following the other or whatever. Ultimately it would be nice for someone to teach them some kind of self worth (since they very much lack that), teach them that their life is worth fighting for or trying to fix rather than just throw away.

[attr="class","subhead"]☐ Party Crashing
[attr="class","descript"]Honestly, introducing Katsuki to characters wouldn't be difficult because they do a lot of impulsive things without thinking, such as crashing some sort of social gathering because they heard about it in passing and sussed it out. They don't have many qualms about intruding where they weren't invited. So I could see them breaking into someone's private underground affair, and just sliding in like they were supposed to be there. I can imagine this idea going a couple ways depending on who they crash. They have the tendency to be blunt, even if it isn't particularly wise for them to do so, so if they find themselves in good company, they could be a very interesting friend that you get deep with quickly, talking about unresolved traumas because they like to psychoanalyse people. Alternatively, if they were to run into someone more hostile, and continue to fuck around for the fun of it, there could be some interesting arguments, and a fun little escape for Katsuki if they end up pissing off the wrong person.
[break][break]
[attr="class","subhead"]☐ Errand 'Boy'
[attr="class","descript"]I think it'd be neat to do a thread in which involves the aspects of Katsuki's work. They're an interesting person, flexible to whatever someone might need. They're a great person to come to if you need someone who won't question your motives or morals. Perhaps the beginning of a plot in which someone wants to see how far Katsuki would go? For the right prices or drugs? Perhaps? Just wanna play with that unhinged 'at your service' vibes that I get from what they do for work.
[break][break]
[attr="class","subhead"]☐ No you
[attr="class","descript"]I want a situation that relates to an idea in which the tables are turned and someone is questioning Katsuki's mental state, rather than what normally happens with them playing counsellor to random people. Maybe someone who is a return client of their's, perhaps they mess around with a few different jobs together, and something happens that really displays Katsuki's complete lack of self-value. Perhaps Katsuki offers themselves physically in a way that just screams a complete lack of autonomy in themselves that causes the other character to step back and question them.
[attr="class","descript2"]Mikine is Katsuki's maths tutor. Due to struggling with their grades, Katsuki was set up for help with their statistics studies via a mutual acquaintance. Katsuki often struggles to make any effort at their tutoring sessions, but as they come to realise Mikine may not be as simple or boring as she may seem, Katsuki finds themself paying a bit more attention.
